Hi, my name is

Paolo Recchia.

I make websites and software

I’ve been programming since 2010. I like to do full-stack website development, software engineering, database management, multimedia creation, and a bunch of other stuff.

About Me

I’m a programmer who loves learning new technologies. I have a background in computer science, mathematics, and multimedia. I’m currently searching for my next job.

Right now, I’m working on a simulation game that’s based around emojis, and how I think they would interact with each other.

The pictures you see are of my cat. His name is Gigi and he’s very sweet. Thank you for visiting!

Experience

Nov 2019 - Mar 2023

From 2019 to 2023, I worked as a Library Page for my local library. I supported day-to-day operations by shelving and organizing materials, helping patrons find what they need, and managing book returns.

Some of my tasks included:

  • Working at the front desk, answering questions, and handling checkouts
  • Using the internal database to locate books and materials for patrons
  • Updating the catalog by adding or removing titles
  • Troubleshooting basic tech issues that patrons would run into
  • Checking in and processing returned items using our library software

During the summer of 2016, I worked with Minima, a boutique company specializing in imported Italian furniture. I also assisted with inventory and product organization behind the scenes.

Some of my tasks included:

  • Updating and maintaining product pages on WordPress
